Association for the Blind

Pindan sold its second charity home in May 2012 at the Waters Edge private estate in Viveash, with proceeds going to benefit the Association for the Blind of WA – Guide Dogs WA.

A massive $168,500 raised from the sale will now go towards vital initiatives such as the training of Guide Dog instructors, sponsoring children’s places in the Association’s Kindergarten Program and Social and Life Skills Activities camp or buying critical equipment for their Industry Skills Centre.

In addition to the charity home, Pindan staff have raised $30,000 and sponsored a guide dog puppy named Shadow.

Waters Edge is an exclusive community just minutes from the centre of Midland, Midland Gate Shopping Centre, local schools, hospitals and the famous Swan Valley winery region.

Boasting exclusive resort style facilities such as a 25m lap pool, spas, gymnasium, childrens' playgrounds, parklands and bbq pavilions, the estate has appealed to downsizers, 1st homebuyers and investors alike.
